RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Due to the exclusive, luxury, and made-to-order nature of our products, the following return terms apply to all purchases.


1. All purchases are final!

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or replacements.
We do not provide refunds.

Let us highlight why we have such strict exchange policies. Although many suppliers allow beachwear to be exchanged, we insist on this because we place the highest value on hygiene. Back in 1978, before AIDS broke out and unsettled the world, we already had this policy in place, even though we were complete newcomers in Fashion. It still applies today, and countless customers have been appreciating it ever since. Now that we produce to order, you even receive brand new items that no one has ever tried before you, not even for a minute!

We leave it to others to generously send items back and forth around the world and exchange them... with all the unpleasant consequences that this may entail.


2. One-Time Size Adjustment Courtesy

The only exception we make is, if an item you have ordered does not fit because you may have ordered it a size too small or too large...

…we will allow you to order the same model in the same color but in a different size and purchase it at half price. This way, we are showing that we are willing to build a bridge to your complete satisfaction. We will only charge half the retail price, and you will save 50%.

This courtesy:

• Is available only once per customer per sale
• Applies only to size adjustments
• Does not apply to changes in color, style, or article
• Does not constitute a return, exchange, or refund
• Is granted solely at our discretion
• Does not apply to limited editions or special collection articles clearly identified as such at the time of purchase

We very much hope you understand.

Please understand also that this exception only applies once per item and customer, i.e. that you are not allowed twice to get this special treatment on the same model; if on different models, you are!

No other refunds, exchanges, or additional replacements will be offered.


3. Made-to-Order and Withdrawal Rights (EU Customers)

In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, including Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

Since our products are manufactured only after we receive your order and are produced according to the size, color or configuration you selected, the right of withdrawal does not apply. You hereby expressly agree to this.


4. Hygiene and Product Integrity

Swimwear and related garments are hygiene-sensitive goods due to their intimate nature and direct skin contact and therefore are not returnable.


5. Limited Exceptions at Sole Discretion

In rare and exceptional circumstances, a request may be reviewed at our sole discretion and only for reasonable grounds.

Reasonable grounds may include:

• A manufacturing defect
• A verifiable material fault
• An item that materially differs from the confirmed order

If an exception is granted, compensation will be issued exclusively in the form of store credit valid for a future purchase.

No monetary refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Store credit and gift certificates are non-transferable and are subject to the terms and conditions provided at the time of issuance.


6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you believe you have received a defective or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by contacting:

support@ta-bou.com

Claims must include:

• Order number
• Clear photographic evidence
• Description of the issue

Failure to report within 48 hours may result in denial of review.

Any resolution, if granted, will be determined solely at our discretion and may consist of store credit only.


7. Import Duties and Refused Shipments

Orders shipped outside Switzerland are delivered under DAP (Delivered At Place) terms.

Import VAT, customs duties, and clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

If a shipment is refused due to unpaid duties, taxes, or clearance fees, the customer remains responsible for all shipping and return-related costs. No refunds will be issued.


8. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
